Sifflez en Travaillant

Bonsoir mes braves

Tomorrow I work - I am going to Tours airport. I hope it doesn't rain, but la météo n'est pas bonne.

Pas un problème
, as long as my wipers work!

Une Course sous la Pluie

Mes enfants....

I have just returned from a run in the country with Leon and Sue. They are trés gentile and were most complimentary about me, naturellement.

I did fail to climb the rue de pavillons, but that was Simon's fault because he didn't treat me with the respect I deserve and failed to select the 1er vitesse at the bottom of the hill. Ce n'est pas grave, it meant that the people standing by the abbaye had longer to admire me.

Je roule

bonjour mes petits choux

It was so nice - the road beneath my wheels, the not too cold air rushing over my bodywork, the sun gleaming off my chromework... Yes, we had a little run in the countryside, just Simon and I. It was so much better than just having my engine turned over.

We stopped for a chat on the way back, where a VERY discerning older gentleman admired me (at length, naturellement), and offered Simon a new engine and gearbox. I should be insulted, but the admirer was so charming it is difficult.

les joies du printemps

bon après-midi, mes petites poules

It was lovely to get out of my garage today. I only moved to the front of the house, but I was in the lovely warm sun while Simon washed me.

A lady likes to be pampered, and moi surtout. First I was rinsed in water (cold water!!) then sprayed underneath with the pressure washer. Oh mes chers, how cold it was - and how it tickled. All that nasty salt from winter was washed away, and then I was soaped, sponged and wiped dry with a chamois cloth.

Now I sparkle again - or does that sound un peu vain? Je ne m'inquiète pas!
